Report: Seahawks sign veteran receiver Brandon Marshall

SEATTLE -- Brandon Marshall, a six-time Pro Bowler and veteran wide receiver, has signed a a deal with the Seattle Seahawks, according to an ESPN report.

Marshall was released by the Giants after spending one season there. His playing time was cut short by an ankle injury that ended his season.

There has been no word from the Seahawks. But Marshall has posted several photos on Instagram in which he is wearing a Seahawks' shirt.

In his career, Marshall has played for Denver, Miami, Chicago and the New York Jets.
