Lawsuit Challenges Trump’s Decision to End DACA Program
SEATTLE -- Washington joined fifteen states and the District of Columbia in filing a lawsuit on Wednesday challenging President Donald Trump's plan to end DACA, the so-called “Dreamers” program that protects young immigrants from deportation. The suit was first announced by Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson, who called Trump's act "a dark time for our country."
On the KOMO Midday News (weekdays 1-3pm), AG Ferguson went into detail about the lawsuit and why he filed it. (Click the picture above to hear the audio).
