Suspect in JonBenet Ramsey murder writes letter claiming grisly details of her killing
A longtime suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey case has allegedly confessed to a former classmate to killing the child in 1996.
According to a report by DailyMailTV, 54-year-old Gary Oliva wrote a letter to former high school classmate Michael Vail, giving alleged details on how he killed the then 6-year-old.
DailyMailTV published details Oliva provided in the letter which describe the convicted pedophile's obsession with the child and how she allegedly died.
However, Boulder Police say they have already investigated Oliva's potential involvement and there are no new updates in the investigation.
"The Boulder Police Department is aware of Gary Oliva and has investigated his potential involvement in this case, including several previous confessions.
The department routinely receives information on this investigation. Information provided to the police department is reviewed along with the many tips and theories we receive.
There are no new updates in this investigation and the department will not comment further."
