TACOMA, Wash. -- One of two men suspected in an attempted robbery of a Girl Scout cookie stand in Tacoma has been arrested, police said.

Roman Mira was arrested in Thurston County Tuesday after investigators received crucial tips from citizens. Mira has been booked into the Pierce County Jail for investigation of second-degree robbery. A second suspect remains unidentified.

Police say Mira and another man approached a Girl Scout cookie stand on March 20 at the Fred Meyer store on Pacific Ave.

One man asked the woman and girl staffing the table for change for a $100 bill, then lifted his sweatshirt, implying that he had a pistol, police said.

The woman delayed giving them money, and they eventually walked away. Nothing was taken during the attempted robbery.
