Police: Fleeing suspect leaves 'Hulk' gloves behind on steering wheel
PASCO, Wash. - A car prowling suspect left behind an unusual clue - a pair of "Incredible Hulk" costume gloves - early Monday after fleeing from a car owner who confronted him.
Now the suspect is behind bars after officers found him with more incriminating evidence on him, police said.
The incident unfolded at about 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 1600 block of West Clark Street in Pasco when a resident there confronted a man inside his car.
The man ran off, leaving behind some stolen items from a previous prowl and the pair of "Hulk" costume gloves - right on the steering wheel.
About an hour later, two blocks away at North 18th Avenue and West Bonneville Street, Pasco police found a suspect that matched the description of the car prowler.
When the officer arrested the 33-year-old suspect, he still had stolen paperwork on him from the first victim's vehicle, officials said.
