Wash. K9 officer helps deputies seize $250K in heroin
VANCOUVER, Wash. — Clark County Sheriff's deputies seized more than 11 pounds of heroin, $51,000 in cash and three vehicles in a months-long investigation into several people suspected of dealing drugs throughout the area.
Authorities served two search warrants Thursday at 15310 SE 8th Street #B in Vancouver.
The estimated street value of the heroin is $250,000.
Deputies say their drug detection K9 'Piper' was crucial in Thursday's search warrants by finding the suspected heroin in one of the three vehicles seized.
The 38-pound female Lab has been a part of the Clark County drug task force since Nov. 2015.
