Man critically wounded in shooting outside SeaTac apartment
SEATAC, Wash. - King County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a 23-year-old man was shot in SeaTac Wednesday night.
A resident at the Olympic View Apartment complex on 31st Ave. South called 911 at 9:25 p.m. to report he had heard several gunshots and found a wounded man leaning against a car in the parking lot, according to Ryan Abbott with the King County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrived to find the man with a severe wound to the leg and bleeding badly. Deputies applied a tourniquet until medics could arrive and rush the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Abbott said at last report, the man had lost a lot of blood and was in surgery in "extreme critical condition."
Detectives have not yet released any suspect information or details about the investigation, but are interviewing those in the area to see if they saw or heard anything that could lend clues in the case.
