Kelso motel drug bust seizes 1/4 kilo of heroin, leads to two arrests

KELSO, Wash. — A bust in Kelso Wednesday led to two arrests and a substantial drug seizure, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

Cowlitz County deputies and Kelso officers searched a motel room at the Super 8 near Kelso High School and found more than 280 grams of heroin, just under five grams of meth and $5,180 cash.

The agents arrested two men at the scene:

  • Kenneth Kyllo, 53, of Woodland
  • Thomas Wiggins, 31, of Longview

Both were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing and delivering controlled substances illegally.

The report from Cowlitz County officials said more arrests are expected as the investigation unfolds.
