House fire spreads, damages 2 homes in Kent
KENT, Wash – A house fire spread and damaged two homes early Saturday morning in the 14200 block of Southeast 264 Street in Kent, according to Puget Sound Fire.
The fire was coming from three sides of the two-story home, with one side of the house starting an attic fire in the next-door residence.
The house fire was upgraded to a second alarm fire, allowing firefighters to extinguish both house fires and keep neighboring homes safe.
Both fires are out. Residents were able to escape the homes safely and there were no reported injuries to them or firefighters.
The fire is under investigation.
