KIRKLAND, Wash. -- One man was injured in an assault that led to gunfire at a parking lot outside a Kirkland drug store.
Two men were fighting with another man at the Walgreen's on 85th Street NE, according to Sgt. Eric Karp with Kirkland Police. The man being attacked pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots.
It doesn’t appear he hit anyone, but the other two men ran over to their car and drove off.
The man was then taken by medics to a local hospital for treatments of injuries from the assault, Karp said. There has been no reports of anyone else wounded from the gunfire.
Police are still looking into what led up to the fight and whether the men knew each other. The other two men remain on the loose.
