Fire damages Kirkland's Brown Bag Cafe

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- A two-alarm fire Saturday night caused significant damage to the Brown Bag Cafe in Kirkland.

Firefighters were called to the cafe at 12217 N.E. 116th St. just after 10 p.m., said Kirkland fire Capt. Ivan Huld.

Crews from Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell and Bellevue helped to fight the fire.

The cafe was closed at the time of the fire. No one was inside.

The cause of the fire is not clear.

Fire officials are investigating but say the scene does not appear suspicious.
