FRIANT, Calif. (KMPH) Updated Thursday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m.: The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has determined a positive identification of a woman found on April 4, 2017.

She is a 33-year-old woman from the state of Virginia.

They are not releasing her name because she may have been a victim of a crime.

They learned the woman flew to Fresno last week to see about possibly moving to this area.

Detectives continue to try and develop information about the woman and any contacts she made during her time in Fresno County.

Arrangements are being made to reunite her with family and friends.

Anyone with additional information about this woman is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111.
